For the price I was expecting much much better. Cheap food quality, crepe burned and hard, and poor service overall. Hot chocolate was mediocre as well. Aguante Carlitos.
The taste is still excellent but the service is not as good as it used to be. They now have a girl who constantly talks to the other workers distracting everyone, loosing the order slips, forgetting what is included into the order and making the process slower. Even if you have only three people in front of you expect around half an hour wait time.
Great crepes! This is not quick service by any means, but the service is good and the food is excellent.
The crepes are not worth neither the waiting time nor the price. The ones with dulce de leche lack the actual dulce de leche, which was a disappointment. They have a sign saying that they will add a 17% gratuity to the Bill so their employees can have a descent living wage, which I wouldn’t mind giving if I was sitting down and be given a service, but they don’t. On top of that, they ask you for a tip! Come on’!!!
The crepes were so good!!! We tried strawberry shortcake, German chocolate and raspberries dark chocolate. My favorite was the raspberries with dark chocolate. It was balanced and not too sweet. The strawberry short cake was great but didn't like the cake since it was a bit of lemon flavor. German Chocolate was very rich ?. The place is tiny and they make the crepes from scratch, so it can be a longer wait.
The crepes are fine, but not worth the 45 minute wait in the cold.
They are the best crepes I've ever had, hands down (including from multiple native french people). A little messy, and they are always soooooo busy and not the best at time management, meaning the wait is rarely less than 20 mins. The last time we were there they were so busy we left after 15 minutes bc we had been the first in line since we got there and they were too busy to even take our order, nor did they talk to us once about what was happening. If they improved on that bit, it'd be 5 stars.
Definitely worth the wait in line, sweet or savory!
If you go to breck, gotta go here. Line can get long (because they are awesome)
The line speaks for itself. There is a reason people wait in line for so long for these Crepes!
Well, an hour of waiting having just 4 people in front. It’s wintertime btw, you know? Outside is cold! Very slow and very expensive, I’d say overpriced af! 90$ for 4 crepes which are not the best in my life at all. After that cashier said “we have minimum 20% tips”. For what? For staying at the window and make me wait an hour for my order in the middle of the street? This place sucks, don’t waste your time and money, those crepes doesn’t deserve it
Very good crepes, but had to wait in line for 30 minutes to place order and then another 40 minutes to get our order.
Takes forever.
Crepes were very good! However, I waited 40 minutes in line when there was only one person ahead of me. When I asked how long the wait was for the food after it was order she said maybe 10, 15, or maybe 20 minutes, it ended up being another 30 minutes. Also there is a mandatory gratuity of 17% and they ask if you would like to tip on top of that. Other than the timely wait, the service was good and the food was good.
The wait was pretty long, but the staff definitely made up for it! It was a little busy, but you could see the staff were moving as fast as they could in order to serve all the customers. They were polite, friendly, and charismatic. I would highly recommend the raspberry hot chocolate. Best hot chocolate I've ever had!
Waited in the cold for 45 min but it was worth it
I'd wait 4 hours for those crepes!
They closed the order window and wouldn't take my order even though I was in line prior to close.
Great crepes! Terrible wait, though. The staff seemed too preoccupied with talking with each together that they forget to hand out the food.
The crepes are well worth the price, especially the savory ones!
Waited 30+ minutes to order and 30 more for crepes but signs posted did say that it could be a long wait. Crepes were overdone and crispy, average taste at best, not worth the amount or wait time.
a lil high price but it hit the spot ?
Food is comparatively better than other options. Not a good time to come during Covid. It will cost you dearly. Two hour wait time @ restaurants is common
We ordered 2 exact same crepes. One of them was 3 times bigger than the other one and better cooked. The other one was like a joke. 1/3rd of the size and overcooked, for the same price! They don't have standard sizes. It is hit or miss, but they charge you the same for any size they feel like making for you. So watch out. It tasted fine, so there is your 1 star for that only.
Worth the wait in line. Really enjoyed the Parisian and the speciality hot drinks.
I try to never write a bad review but after dozens of tries and hours of waiting I thought today would finally be the day I got my crepe. After showing up upon their opening time and a full hour of waiting I've moved 2 spots in a line of maybe 15. I've finally give up,. It takes no more than 5 minutes to make a satisfactory crepe and the prices seemed steep but I really wanted to love it. The truth is no crepe is worth an hour wait. Just make it at home, it costs the same and it'll definitely be faster.
Delicious!
OMGG the turkey pesto and the chicken crepes were so filling and delicious! The wait is 35 minutes but 100% worth it! Definitely a must if you want a quick snack for $13
Always crowded
LOVE,LOVE,their Crepes!!
Long wait in line but worth the wait for a cheesecake crepe. My 1st experience at this place all the way from Arlington, TX for our Christmas In Breckenridge, Colorado. ❤??
always a long line but definitely for good reason. I would say its worth the wait to work into one of your breakfast/lunch plans while staying in breck. I like the sweeter crepes with fruit but breakfast selections are also super satisfying. everything’s so crispy and tasty! mouth watering
The wait time was great, and the food was FANTASTIC!
Amazing, but fast food? If they didn't make crepes at the speed galaxies form....
I liked the savory crepe with pesto and marinara sauce with vegs n chicken.
Food was good, guy I asked for napkins from was rude!
Philly cheese steak was good. Food just overpriced plus they automatically hit you with like 18% tip
If you visit Breckenridge you must visit Crepes a la Cart. It’s a town staple. It’s take out-only model makes it covid ready. Although in a non-covid world they allow you to eat on their deck around a fire pit. They have savory and sweet offerings. Pictured below is one of my favorites the Raspberry Chocolate, which is a very good mix of dark chocolate and raspberries. Be prepared for longer wait times especially later evening and night times. It’s well worth the wait.
It was mediocre, outside layer was burnt and the fillings were light.
Fresh & delicious! The Mexican hot chocolat is divine!
The crepes are AMAZING, soft & delicious, but the line was incredibly long - we waited 45 minutes outside in the cold (like pretty much everywhere else due to the virus) just to order, then another 30 to get them
After waiting for the monte cristo for 30 mins, it was Okay, it was cold. Would come back to try some of the sweet crepes
Good crepes but not worth the more than an hour long wait to order in freezing cold. They need a more efficient system to run the place, it should not take so long to take orders. I understand the need for time to prepare the food, but not to write down what people want to eat.
The wait time is long but highly recommend. I got the chocolate deluxe with marshalow, caramel syrup and chocolate dips. OMG it was freaking good. Go try it if you visit breckenridge Colorado
Update your hours i went on saturday at 8:15pm and you guys told me was closed i went at night not morning
Sweet.
Worth the wait.
The line is sometimes very long. But it it is not too cold out it is definitely worth the wait!!
The friendliest of staff!
Absolutely delish! Had a fruit crepe and a breakfast crepe. They are huge! The wait is kind of long, not a complaint, more of just a heads up.
